How I shot Andy Warhol. Performance with Martina Mullaney.

Ever since Velerie Solanas put her name under the SCUM Manifesto in 1967, the text was considered one of the most outrageous, violent and certifiably crazy tracts. Valerie Solanas, the woman who pointed her 32 snub-nosed pistol at Andy Warhol and fired a shot, self-published this work just before her rampage against the king of Pop Art made her a household name and resulted in her confinement to a mental institution. Ever since, the text was hard to dismiss.

Now, imagine a group of several people reading the manifesto aloud and soaking their naked feet in the fountain on the patio of Victoria&Albert Museum in London almost half a century later. Led by Martina Mullaney and constantly interrupted by the cried of children, burning sun and even their own laughter, the group bravely made the reading session to the very end.
