no.w.here is hiring!

Full time Arts Administrator post at no.w.here artist film lab 

£22,000 p.a. 

5 days a week (monday to friday 10 - 6pm with some flexibility for working occasional evenings and weekends) 

This key post at no.w.here is a unique opportunity to work in a not for profit artist run space. The successful candidate must be able to multi task, and possess excellent administrative skills. candidates must have a strong knowledge of artists moving image work, programming experience and ideas, teaching experience, and a knowledge of online marketing tools in order to cover the breadth of our activity which ranges from grass roots training and access to film facilities for artists as well as projects delivered with major institutions. 

We expect you to have an excellent knowledge of what we do at no.w.here, including our philosophy, from which we are excited to hear your own vision for our future. We operate with a small and dedicated team, and as well as working on our day to day activities you will also be an ambassador for no.w.here at a critical time for the arts sector generally. You will need excellent people skills, you must be able to communicate clearly and be passionate about art, film, marginal and political cinema, non western modernities and pedagogical education. You must live in London and we are looking for a minimum 1 year commitment Mondays to Fridays. Interviews will be held in the third week of February 2013 with a placement ready to start in April 2013 

Required skillset: 

Administration (Taking Payments, Invoicing, Diary coordination, Resourcing for workshops, ordering equipment, Managing processing work, Dealing with enquiries, arranging and minuting board meetings, Stock spreadsheets, Coordinating database and mailing list, Social media marketing skills, Administering no.w.here’s studios, Assisting with summer School, Assisting with Sequence 4, Assisting with screenings, events and education workshops, Skills in Application writing and Grant writing, excellent personal skills.) 

Creative vision, passion for artists film and video, programming experience and ideas, teaching experience, you must be able to communicate clearly and be passionate about artists film and video.
