It's been few years since Filmoteka Muzeum launched it's online archive. The branch of Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw is the archive of some of the most outstanding works of Polish video art of the 20th and 21st century. It operates as a research and education project embracing the media-related dimension of Polish art, as well as digitising films often preserved only in single well-worn copies. The collection of Filmoteka includes seminal pieces of artistic film, video art, performance, as well as art scene documentary footages, and latest works by acclaimed Polish artists. The bulk of the collection is available online free of charge for educational purposes at www.artmuseum.pl/filmoteka. The website currently counts more than 500 films, featuring artists such as: Akademia Ruchu, Pawel Althamer, Supergrupa Azorro, Miroslaw Balka, Oskar Dawicki, Katarzyna Kozyra, KwieKulik, Natalia LL, Zbigniew Libera, Amdrzej Pawlowski, Ewa Partum, Jozef Robakowski, Wilhelm Sasnal, Zbigniew Warpechowski, Krzysztof Wodiczko, Artur Zmijewski and many more.
